EasyBusiness partnered in implementing a large-scale grant program to support 100 Ukrainian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with funding from the German government and the EU. Through the program, 100 MSMEs received grants of €10,000 each. The program aimed to enhance the innovative capacity of MSMEs and strengthen their export potential.
The EasyBusiness team conducted a highly competitive grant selection process, receiving over 1,100 applications from MSMEs with a wide range of project ideas and selecting the 100 best projects.
Grant support also fostered entrepreneurship among vulnerable populations—59% of the beneficiaries were women-led companies. This empowered women entrepreneurs and created role models in Ukraine’s business ecosystem.
The program helped MSMEs achieve the following results:
- Sales growth: 68% of companies.
- Increased labor productivity: 47% of beneficiaries.
- Expanded production volumes: 44% of enterprises.
- Reduced production costs: 24% of companies.
- Overall cost reductions: 34% of program participants.
- Improved energy efficiency: 16% of enterprises.
The participant satisfaction level for the grant program was 4.87 out of 5.
