NGO EasyBusiness continues to promote Ukraine’s European integration. Today, we have started cooperation with 3*E4U to support the initiatives of Ukrainian NGOs within the framework of the project “Supporting Ukraine’s negotiation process on Chapters 23 and 24 through the establishment of a monitoring and civic engagement platform”! We are grateful to our partners Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for their trust and huge contribution to Ukraine’s recovery and European integration.
As the European integration process continues, civil society organisations play an important role as observers, advocates and service providers working to promote human rights, democracy and the rule of law. Their participation is crucial for ensuring a transparent, inclusive and accountable EU integration process. However, there is still no single online resource that would consolidate information on the progress of reforms, provide analytics and support CSOs in their activities.
As part of the new project, NGO EasyBusiness experts will develop an online resource dedicated to the key chapters of the negotiations with the European Union that determine Ukraine’s progress in the areas of rule of law and security — Chapters 23 and 24. In particular, Chapter 23 deals with judicial reforms, strengthening the fight against corruption and ensuring fundamental human rights. Chapter 24 covers justice, freedom and security (including law enforcement reform, migration policy, etc.).
The successful implementation of the requirements of these chapters is extremely important for Ukraine’s European integration and demonstrates our country’s ability to comply with European standards of the rule of law, human rights protection and public security.
