Maryna is a Senior Analyst at EasyBusiness and Civitta Ukraine with over four years of experience in private sector development, focusing on SME support, regional and local economic development, and innovation. Her functional expertise includes market research, SME policy analysis, grant programme coordination, and project proposal development.
At USAID ERA, she built partnerships with government agencies, industry organisations, and private sector representatives and reoriented the strategic focus of the Growth Component. At EasyBusiness and Civitta, she collaborated with international partners and donors, including GIZ, USAID (USAID ERA, IREX), the European Commission, the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), the Green for Growth Fund (GGF), DECIDE, UCORD, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, and private companies. At Civitta, she contributed to projects such as EU4Business: SME Policies and Institutions Support (SMEPIS) Ukraine, the pre-feasibility study for the Ukrainian-Korean Industrial Park in Bucha and Horodok, Consultancy support for 105 SMEs, Ukrainian Businesses in Action, the Assessment of Ukraine’s progress in innovation and digitalization, the Study on digital transformation and innovation in the Eastern Partnership and Western Balkans, and the TASP Program with EY, which secured over USD 1 million in SME investments in Eastern Ukraine. She also provided SMEs with market research and export strategy advisory services.
At EasyBusiness, she worked on developing the Recovery and Development Strategy of the Odessa Region (2021–2027) in partnership with Civitta, coordinating a EUR 1 million SME grant programme, and a project promoting private sector development through regional economic specialization.
She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in international economic relations from Odesa Mechnikov National University. She also studied on a scholarship at the Free University of Berlin, participated in the CFA Research Challenge (Ukrainian final), and ESG Investing by the CFA Institute.
